TACOMA, WA – A teenager was struck by a vehicle and killed while crossing the street in Parkland on Tuesday night, reports FOX13.
The victim was a 13-year-old riding his bicycle through the crosswalk at the intersection of SR-7 and 134th Street. At approximately 4 p.m., a driver a Jeep struck the child, who died at the scene.
Washington State Police are still investigating this accident. At this time, impairment is not suspected as a cause of the crash, and no criminal charges have been reported.
