Narrative
SEATTLE, WA – A 27-year-old motorcyclist died Monday in a two-vehicle crash along a busy roadway in north Seattle.
The incident happened just after 10 p.m. on the southbound side of Aurora Avenue North near the intersection with North 43rd Street. This is south of Woodland Park in the Fremont area.
Police say the victim was heading south on Aurora when a southbound SUV struck her bike while changing lanes.
The motorcyclist died at the scene. Authorities have not yet released her identity to the public.
The driver of the SUV was not hurt in the crash and did remain at the scene to render aid and speak with police.
