Narrative

UNIVERSITY PLACE, WA – Three people, including two deputies were taken to the hospital following a major crash in University Place early Monday.

The incident took place at the intersection of Cirque and Bridgeport Way around 4:30 a.m., as reported by the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department.

Emergency responders attended to one person who was ejected from the scene and subsequently taken to the hospital. The current condition of this individual remains unknown. Despite sustaining injuries, the two deputies are expected to recover without complications.
