SHELTON, WA – Two people died Saturday afternoon after a two-vehicle crash involving a police cruiser in southeast Mason County.
The incident happened around 4:22 p.m. at the intersection of US-101 and Lynch Road, which is in the town of Shelton.
The investigation indicates that a Washington State trooper was headed south on a call when their cruiser struck a vehicle as it entered the intersection.
The collision killed the two occupants of the second vehicle. Authorities have not yet released the names of the victims.
