Narrative

RENTON, WA – Three people sustained injuries Wednesday in a two-vehicle collision along WA-900 in west-central King County.

The incident occurred sometime before noon just east of Southeast May Valley Road, or 164th Avenue Southeast.

Police say that the driver of a pickup truck entered the wrong side of the highway and collided with another pickup truck.

Medics transported three people to the hospital with serious injuries. A passenger in the second pickup truck was admitted in critical condition.

Authorities suspect the wrong-way driver may have been intoxicated at the time of the collision.
