Narrative

GRANT CO., WA – A DUI driver caused a three-vehicle collision with injuries on Friday night along the highway north of Mattawa.

The accident happened just after 8 p.m. just north of Mattawa on Highway 243, which is near Saddle Mountain Management Area.

Police say that a southbound vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic and hit a northbound vehicle. The northbound vehicle overturned and caused a third vehicle to land in a ditch.

Medics transported seven people to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
