CHELAN CO., WA – Two men and two women sustained injuries last Monday in a multi-vehicle collision along the highway in south-central Chelan County.
The accident occurred around 4:30 p.m. on US-2 near Nason Creek, which is about 100 miles northeast of Seattle.
Police say that a westbound black Kia Soul struck two other vehicles while attempting to pass them using the eastbound lane of traffic. The collision caused one of the vehicles to hit an unoccupied car on the westbound shoulder.
Medics transported the driver that caused the accident, identified only as a 59-year-old man, along with a female passenger to the hospital with injuries of unknown severity.
The driver and passenger from one of the westbound vehicles that was struck also required hospitalization.
