Narrative

FEDERAL WAY, WA – A vehicle struck and injured three WSDOT employees Wednesday after crashing into a work zone in southwest King County.

The incident happened at a work zone along I-5 when a car hit two maintenance vehicles at the site.

Police haven’t said what caused the crash, but they did caution drivers to remain attentive and to abide by posted speed limits.

Medics transported three workers to the hospital with non-critical injuries. The victims have since returned home.

A full investigation is underway.
