Narrative:

KENT, WA – A 20-year-old woman died last Tuesday night after a vehicle struck her along a busy roadway in northeast Kent.

Authorities responded to the 25000 block of 104th Avenue Southeast around 10:13 p.m. after reports of a female pedestrian in the roadway.

Medics transported the pedestrian, identified as Kara Vee of Kent, to a local hospital, where she died from injuries sustained in the crash.

Police arrested the 62-year-old driver involved in the accident on allegations of driving under the influence.

The investigation is ongoing.
