Narrative

RENTON, WA – Officials report minor injuries after a wrong-way collision along the interstate in Renton last Sunday.

The incident happened on the southbound side of I-405 near North 30th Street, which is just north of Kennydale Elementary School.

Police say that a northbound driver entered the southbound side of the interstate and collided with two southbound vehicles. Two of the vehicles caught fire after the collision.

It is unclear if anyone required hospitalization.

Authorities arrested the wrong-way driver.
