SEATTLE, WA – At least five people went to the hospital on Monday morning after a two-vehicle collision along the interstate in Seattle.
The accident happened around 5:30 a.m. on the southbound side of I-5 near the Mercer Street exit, which is in the South Lake Union area.
Police haven’t shared many details about how the collision occurred. They say that a man in his 30s, three women, and a teenager all went to the hospital with injuries of unknown severity.
Officials blocked the southbound side of I-5 in the area of the crash while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene.
